I love asparagus as a side dish with baked seafood like sumptuous fillets of fish. I enjoy baking them because I love the nutty and crunchy texture as a result. This is such a healthy and easy side dish to make with only 5 ingredients on the recipe.
Roasting the asparagus at 350°F/176°C depends on your elevation. Our elevation is 1,300 Feet in elevation. Here is a handy chart for adjusting the roasting temperature to match your elevation. If you’re not sure your elevation a quick Google search will tell you.
Roasting Adjustment By Elevation
| Elevation (feet) | Temperature Adjustment | Time Adjustment |
|---|---|---|
| Sea Level | 0°F | No adjustment needed |
| 1,000 – 3,000 | Increase by 5°F | Watch closely; may cook slightly faster |
| 3,000 – 5,000 | Increase by 10°F | May need to increase time by 5-10% |
| 5,000 – 7,000 | Increase by 15°F | May need to increase time by 10-15% |
| 7,000 – 10,000 | Increase by 20°F | May need to increase time by 15-20% |
This chart should help you to not overcook the Asparagus. We want you to achieve that nutty and crunchy texture of the veggie. Join me in learning how to make Baked Asparagus in the oven.
